Announcement

new   Exam  Mon August 10  6:00 PM
                     in class  3 hours

Based on lectures, text book, seminar readings and discussions and Civil War documentary film viewings.

Part 1 (30%):  4 out of 16 lecture key terms since midterm exam. Identify and give significance.

Part 2 & 3: (35% + 35%)  1 out of 3 essay topics from each part (total of 2 one-hour essays.)

Discussion of battles need to include at least both the military and political significance, and as much social, cultural, economic and scientific impact as historically relevant.

Essays were Due Mon July 27

As per course outline, only those essays submitted in hard copy in lecture on the due date will be guaranteed to be returned at the exam with a mark and comments.

Essays submitted at any other date and in any other form will not be marked until after the exams and the essay mark will be released upon request after the final mark is posted on RAMMS.
